HYDOR's Privacy agreement
HYDOR Srl offers protection of personal data to the visitors of the web site managed by it. The majority of web pages may be accessed without any need to communicate personal data, but in some cases it is necessary to provide information to be able to use the services offered. Data furnished shall be treated in line with Law No. 196/2003 as subsequently amended.
This information is also supplied pursuant of article 13 of law no. 196/2003 – A code regulating the protection of personal data of whoever uses the company’s web services accessible by electronic means from the web address www.hydor.com . Personal data is used only for HYDOR SRL institutional purposes. The HYDOR SRL website includes links which are not under the control of the same HYDOR SRL, therefore kindly refer to their policy regarding protection of data.
1. THE HOLDER OF THE RIGHT TO PROCESS DATA
HYDOR SRL, is registered at Via Voiron 27, Bassano del Grappa –36061 (VI) shall have the right to process such data.
2. THE PLACE WHERE SUCH DATA IS PROCESSED
Data connected to the web services given on this site shall be processed at the above mentioned offices and shall be handled only by the technical staff including external staff, responsible for such processing.
Personal data supplied by users who visit the HYDOR SRL site shall be used only in order to provide the service requested, offering access to all possible information.
No data derived from such web services shall be communicated or divulged except in the event that communication to third parties is necessary in order to provide the service requested.
3. TYPE OF DATA
Data related to surfing resulting from use of the HYDOR SRL web site by the user are acquired by the software essential for them to function. This includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers utilised by the web visitors, the (URI) Uniform Resource Identified address of the resources requested, the date and time that the request was made, the function/system used to make such request, the size of the file obtained in the reply, the numeric code indicating the state of the reply given by the server (received, error, etc.) and other parameters relative to the operating system and to the users IT settings.
Personal information supplied by the user (user name and password) to gain access to the reserved areas of the web pages of the HYDOR SRL site, is protected by adequate safeguards and various encryption systems. Such data may also be used to gather anonymous statistical data on the use of the site and to ensure its proper functioning. This information could be used to trace the responsible parties in the event of computer crime detrimental to the site.
Any optional, explicit and voluntary email sent to the addresses indicated on this site automatically enables access to the sender’s address and other data included in the mail which is necessary to answer such mail.
Specific summarised information shall be included or seen in the HYDOR SRL web pages set up for particular services upon request.
Save for the reserved areas (services), no information upon the user shall be acquired by cookies on the HYDOR SRL site.
Session cookies used in this HYDOR SRL website avoid recourse to other IT techniques which could prejudice the security of navigation by the users. In the HYDOR SRL site only session cookies necessary for secure and efficient navigation of the site are used; such cookies are stored by the users’ computers and unless otherwise specified disappear once the browser is closed. Storage is optional to the user.
5. DATA PROVISION IS OPTIONAL
Apart from navigation data, the user is free to decide whether to provide personal information on the HYDOR SRL web site in order to enjoy the services offered. Not providing details may make it impossible for the user’s request to be met.
6. HOW THE DATA IS PROCESSED
Personal information is processed by automated means only for the amount of time necessary to obtain the results for which such data was originally collected.
Specific security measures are complied with to avoid loss of data, illegal and improper use and unauthorised access.
7. RIGHTS OF INTERESTED PARTIES
Persons receiving information have the right to obtain confirmation of the veracity or otherwise of the same information and to find out the content and origin of such information, to verify it and to request supplementary information or updates and amendments (see article 7 of Italian law no. 196/2003).
The same article grants the right to request the cancellation, anonymity or impediment of data handled in breach of law, and in any event, if there is valid reason to do so, to object to their being processed.
